The Advanced Image Editor is a powerful web-based tool that allows you to manipulate images directly in your browser. With features like silhouette generation, grayscale conversion, sepia tone, and more, this editor is perfect for quick image edits without the need for complex software. Below is a detailed guide on how to use each tool.


How to Use the Editor

1. Upload an Image

To get started, upload an image by clicking the Choose File button. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, and GIF. Once uploaded, the image will appear on the canvas.

2. Available Tools

The editor provides the following tools:

  • Make Black: Converts the entire image to black.
  • Generate Silhouette: Converts the image into a black-and-white silhouette based on the threshold value.
  • Grayscale: Converts the image to black and white, removing all color information.
  • Sepia: Applies a warm, vintage sepia tone to the image.
  • Invert: Reverses the colors in the image, creating a negative effect.
  • Rotate 90°: Rotates the image by 90 degrees clockwise.
  • Flip: Mirrors the image horizontally.
  • Crop: Crops the image to half its original size.
  • Save Image: Downloads the edited image as a PNG file.

3. Adjust Brightness and Contrast

Use the sliders below the canvas to adjust the brightness and contrast of the image:

  • Brightness: Adjusts the brightness of the image (range: -100 to 100).
  • Contrast: Adjusts the contrast of the image (range: -100 to 100).

4. Generate a Silhouette

To generate a silhouette:

  1. Upload an image.
  2. Adjust the Threshold slider to control the silhouette effect.
  3. Click the Generate Silhouette button.
Tip: Use a lower threshold for darker images or to retain more details. Use a higher threshold for lighter images or to create a more dramatic silhouette effect.

5. Save Your Work

Once you're satisfied with your edits, click the Save Image button to download the edited image as a PNG file.
